ART IS PART OF MY LIFE...
Here are some photographs of completed works this year. There are more to come!
A simple colour wheel to orientate me for the semester of painting, painting and only painting. haha.

A cropped chrysanthemum flower for me to experiment with the type of colour combination. A close follow up with the colour wheel. The colours simply run through me. lols.

Moving on the acrylic painting after several weeks handling poster colours. One thing is that acrylic paint dries very fast and thus, you have to paint faster than the rate of drying up of the paint. That was really challenging. Nine small boxes was already enough to make me go nuts. But at least, I survived it and yay, I improved! The canvas painting below was a duplicate of nanyang style artist Liu Kang. His style was rather hard to copy.

Leave comments on the tagboard for me to consider improving on them! Thanks!

Audrey: We would be relatives and friends forever yea? Love you loads too! Hopefully we can be in the same class next year!

Shi Jin: Hey there. Ooh.. glad to know that you know me. haha. I shall link you asap and so you must link me too!

Wen Yi: Oh girl.. You are at least a million times smarter than me! Congrats on your results too (even though I don't know them, but i dare say it's damn high) eeks.

Jolyn: Who wouldn't? It's just that bond that make you feel like crying.

Jiya: Yea, you are so pro-ded in every subject. Higher chinese is only the thing I can be ego about in front of you. haha. we would be good friends. I actually understand your maths equation. Oh, cool.

Nellie: Wow, congrats nia! How coincidental... >.<

Sky: Thanks! But yours are better!

Shi Tian: It's all because of Carissa lah. Whole day don't want to talk to me, keep doing work. So I'm left with no choice but to do work as well. Mann.. haha. You did very well too (I'm very sure of that)! Good luck too and it was nice being friends with you!

Chriselle: You pro-ded swimmer! I found your blog earlier than you. Yay, I win!

Summing it all up...
The time has finally arrived and my first secondary school life has officially come to an end. There were ups and downs in this fast, yet short, year. Ranging from academics to sports, I must say that I certainly had made improvements, albeit big or small; fast of slow.
English Language: 68/ B+/ 3.2
Higher Chinese: 71/ A/ 3.6
Mathematics: 86/ A+/ 4.0
Geography: 67/ B+/ 3.2
History: 56/ C+/ 2.4
English Literature: 65/ B+/ 3.2
Lower Secondary Science: 76/ A/ 3.6
Arts Elective Programme: 81/ A+/ 4.0
Malay Special Programme: 80/ A+/ 4.0
Grade Point Average: 3.47
I'M SATISFIED.
Sometimes, I really wonder if comments and feedback were constucted in such a way that they do not tell the truth. I suppose many of us know that every one has a heart and brain. We have feelings. I don't want to be covered with that black veil; blocking out the rays of reality. I also do ponder if our eyes and ears work as filters-- seeing and hearing only the good stuff.
English Language: Chern Hwee is able to understand concepts taught to her but needs to practice her writing with greater rugularity so as to do better.
Mathematics: Chern Hwee takes responsibility for her learning and is consistent in her work.
Geography: Chern Hwee's positive attitude has led to admirable achievements this semester. She has an active and enquiring mind and shows a willingness to explore new ideas.
History: Chern Hwee demonstrates willingness to face challenges and strives to do her best in the duties assigned to her.
English Literature: Chern Hwee needs to aim for more consistency in analysis. Class discussions demonstrate her nderstanding of Literature.
Lower secondary Science: Chern Hwee is a conscientiouse and earnest pupil who does her work promptly and meticulously without having to be reminded.
Arts elective programme: chern Hwee has a bubbly personality. SAhe shows great interest and initiative while doing her works. She could be better if she put in more effort in planning and develop ideas. Keep it up!
Malay special programme: Takes her duties very seriousy and executes them with pride and eagerness. Requires minimum supervision.
Higher Chinese: Chern Hwee is a lively and spirited student who speaks with confidence and will excel in her studies.
WHAT THE FUCK.
Liqi: It's not really that wrong lah. It just came with this skin's template and I'm too lazy to change it. haha. Cool. Being in the same class as you would surely be fun!
Jolyn: Hello. Yepp. I did your quiz and I was expecting complains from some people... tsk tsk.
Ama: Yea girl, 108 rocks my low socks! We did well for netball carnival and yay, we got third! I will also miss you, the chio, smart, tall and what not dear.
Zhe Kang: Check it out. You're officially linked. >.<
Caijing: You are linked too. What's so funny about my blog?
Audrey: Yo relative. It's nice to be in the same class as you too! It's very fun talking to you about crap topics. Love loads!
Xiangjie: Lols. I didn't ask you to tag. You did it yourself.
Thm: I know it's nice. That's why I posted it. haha.
HUILI: Heyhey. Long time no see, no talk. Keep in touch yea?
Chunmei: It's a different one. I can't possibly pass up something like that to my teacher right? Yupp, we are going to be separated into different classes.
Yonghan: You're very fast. (note the sacarsm XD). Merry christmas and a happy new year.
Yanjun: Be grateful. I relinked you.
I feel like a moron replying tags here.

- KIDS say the darnest things...

JACK (age 3) was watching his Mom breast-feeding his new baby sister. Aftera while he asked: "Mom why have you got two? Is one for hot and one forcold milk?"

BRITTANY (age 4) had an earache and wanted a painkiller. She tried in vainto take the lid off the bottle. Seeing her frustration, her Mom explainedit was a childproof cap and she'd have to open it for her. Eyes wide withwonder, the little girl asked: "How does it know it's me?

SUSAN (age 4) was drinking juice when she got the hiccups. "Please don'tgive me this juice again," she said, "It makes my teeth cough."

D I (age 4) stepped onto the bathroom scale and asked: "How much do I cost?"

THINGS YOU NEVER KNEW YOUR CELLPHONE COULD DO !!

There are a few things that can be done in times of grave emergencies.
Your mobile phone can actually be a life saver or an emergency tool for survival. Check out the things that you can do with it:

*I* * The Emergency Number worldwide for **Mobile** is 112 .* If you find yourself out of coverage area of your mobile network and there is an emergency, dial 112 and the mobile will search any existing network to establish the emergency number for you, and interestingly this number 112 can be dialed even if the keypad is locked. **Try it out.**

*II* * Subject: Have you locked your keys in the car? Does you car have remote keys?* This may come in handy someday. Good reason to own a cell phone: If you lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are at home, call someone at home on their cell phone from your cell phone. Hold your cell phone about a foot from your car door and have the person at your home press the unlock button, holding it near the mobile phone on their end. Your car will unlock. Saves someone from having to drive your keys to you. Distance is no object. You could be hundreds of miles away, and if you can reach someone who has the other "remote" for your car, you can unlock the doors (or the trunk). Editor's Note: *It works fine! We tried it out and it unlocked our car over a cell phone!"*

*III* Subject: Hidden Battery power Imagine your cell battery is very low , you are expecting an important call and you don't have a charger. Nokia instrument comes with a reserve battery. To activate, press the keys *3370# Your cell will restart with this reserve and the instrument will show a 50% increase in battery. This reserve will get charged when you charge your cell next time. AND

*IV* How to disable a STOLEN mobile phone? To check your Mobile phone's serial number, key in the following digits on your phone: * # 0 6 # A 15 digit code will appear on the screen. This number is unique to your handset. Write it down and keep it somewhere safe. when your phone get stolen, you can phone your service provider and give them this code. They will then be able to block your handset so even if the thief changes the SIM card, your phone will be totally useless. You probably won't get your phone back, but at least you know that whoever stole it can't use/sell it either. If everybody does this, there would be no point in people stealing mobile phones.

Isn't it really cool? I copied this from my email. Yay.
